METALMATSUB1 SERIES LAUNCH

Stoked to let you all know that the METALMATSUB1 Series is live.

This is human-made electronic music paired with collectible physical artifacts. This series has been in the works since 2022 and I've built it all myself...track by track, image by image, manifesting each thought into signal.

No fake mysticism, no algorithmic slop pretending to have a musical soul, no offramp to the disposable content treadmill.

The music tracks were written, played, shaped, mixed, and released by a human being (me) using machines as instruments — not replacements.

Each piece in the series connects sound and image into one creative object: electronic music with a physical and visual counterpart you can actually collect, hold, frame, wear, or file away like evidence.

METALMATSUB1 lives somewhere between beat tape, art drop, studio dispatch, and corrupted transmission. It pulls from glitch, lo-fi electronics, retro tech, streetwear, analog texture, and the weird little corners of underground digital culture that still feel alive to me.

This is not a “launch campaign.”

This is a series of creative releases from Hashtag Dave and STATIC CHAPEL for our fellow Glitchies who still care about process, texture, intention, and real artifacts that really mean something.

The machine is involved. The human is still in charge.
